BIO
Holly was born and raised
in Alberta, Canada.
Prior to publishing her first
novel, she worked as a long-distance operator, receptionist, travel coordinator, a sales rep, marketing manager, and a branch manager for a national computer training company. It wasn’t until after she married and had kids that she decided to chase her dream of becoming a novelist.
Holly's debut novel, The Tin Box, began as a short story she workshopped at Francis Ford Coppola’s Zoetrope Writers Workshop in Belize. It has now
been published in six languages. Her second novel, The Penny Tree, was published not long after that and The Silver Compass followed.
Today, Holly lives in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains with her family and their Newfoundland dog, Wilson.
